Seminar Summary
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has examined key variables common to community partnerships and will discuss these findings during this interactive cyber-seminar. Please join us and share your experiences partnering with others to ensure that innovations reach the people who most need them.
As part of our efforts to forge a collaboration between cancer control researchers and practitioners, we invite interested participants to 'share their stories' about partnerships that moved research into practice. Story submission guidelines will be provided live during the seminar.
Learning Objectives
- Understand how to go about developing partnerships around common interests
- List elements for successful partnerships that seek to translate research into public health programs
- Explore how successful collaborations can ensure ongoing dissemination of partners’ project findings and other information
- Discuss how to sustain partnership when activities or funding is reduced or eliminated
